A start has been made on Davy's memorial garden. With a little bit of luck it should look something like this when its finished !

I was widowed from my darling husband Davy at Christmas 2009. We had a great life with many character building ups and downs, culminating with the start up of our business, Infotel, in 1989.
Infotel was the first online interactive hotel booking service in the UK. In response to popular demand we expanded the this to include two more brands findmeahotelroom.com and findmeaconference.com which are primarily, but not exclusively, for account managed corporate clients.
I have 3 daughters, 9 grandchildren and 5 greatgrandchildren most of whom are now my reason for living.

It is a lovely idea. Will look forward to seeing pictures wehn it is finished. A x
Great idea! A garden is a lovely way to remember someone - you can sit there and have a little chat when you feel like it. My grandparents have benches with their names on, and I like sitting on them and remembering.
What a beautiful way to acknowledge a wonderful person.
I too look forward to the day we see it finished!
I think that is so special. How did you decide on what went into the garden? Were the flowers and plants favorites of your husband's?
OK. Off at last. When's the completion date? Let us know the name of your MP who's going to cut the ribbon at the official opening.

It looks as if it will be a wonderful, peaceful place to sit, or wander along the little path. But what a lot of work you still have ahead of you!
I'm sure it will be worth it, though. A great achievement, and a delightful memorial. :)
